Since the start of 2020, I have been wearing less makeup and frankly, I haven’t been able to keep up with my skin care routine due to my hectic schedule of juggling home and work life. On top of that, wearing a face mask for long hours on a daily basis has caused my jaw area to break out. So I’m very grateful to Innovative Dermatological Solutions (IDS) for inviting me on this journey to better skin.
There are 3 entities under IDS – IDS Skincare, IDS Clinic and IDS Aesthetics. I decided to embark on my IDS experience with IDS at Novena Specialist Center.
IDS Clinic Novena
The waiting area at IDS Novena Specialist Center is spacious and all measures of distancing and temperature checking were taken seriously and comfortably. I did not have to wait long to see the doctor despite having a number of clients.
Consultation
I was assigned to DR. Ian Tan who asked about my concerns and thoroughly accessed my skin. As you know, I have been struggling with acne since my late teens and it never really went away. Although my skin has improved tremendously over the years, I still get the occasional break out during the time of the month and now with the constant use of face mask. I informed DR. Ian Tan that although I still have acne, I have bigger concerns for anti-aging as I’m entering my late thirties. So I was prescribed a series of products catered to my skin’s needs.
